The filter media consists of pleated micro glassfiber and is fitted with thermoplastic separators. Micro SF is multifunctional and is used in sterile and clean-rooms as well as for the protection of various industrial and technical processes. It absorbs airborne substances such as viruses, bacteria, toxic dust, etc. It is used in areas of medicine classed as DIN 1946, in operating theatres, ICUs, laboratories as well as in precision manufacturing. Due to the pleated design of the media and its thermoplastic separators, the filter has a larger effective filtration surface than HEPA filters with aluminum separators. The filter with MDF frame is almost entirely free from metal and thus fully combustible. |
