A053 was originally designed for use in the nuclear industry for the filtration of radioactive iodine and iodine compounds as well as for the destruction of various war gases. The frame and the cassette are made of stainless steel (EN 1,4301). Carefully welded perforated plates form the basis for a stable 50 mm thick layer of activated carbon. The filter is fitted with a device for automatic voltage control. The device ensures a compression between the frame and the media, ensuring a leak. Free unit. The hatch is easily disassembled, enabling easy replacement of carbon cassettes.
